Record without tapes
EyeTV can do everything a VCR does without the hassle of video tapes. EyeTV software stores an hour of video in 2 GB on your hard disk - the exact space required varies with the bitrate the TV station uses to broadcast. Then burn permanent copies on DVD-R, playable in your home DVD player of course (Toast Titanium recommended)!
Interactive program guide - complete with remote programming!
The free 12 month trial subscription to the tvtv service offers a program guide of the 21st century - via Internet, of course! tvtv is available in Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
tvtv lets you assemble your programming schedule with a few clicks and all the bells and whistles only an Internet service can offer (uptotheminute, easy search, crosslinks etc.).
EyeTV software picks up the schedule from the Internet, automatically if you want it that way. This allows you to program your computer at home from the office, getting you a finished recording before you even get back home!
Skip the boring parts
EyeTV lets you review previous footage or skip forward as you wish. Simply use the Jump button to skip over boring commercials — or use the Instant Replay button to watch the goal of the day again and again.
For archival you sift through the film, set a couple of markers and click on "Compact" and presto - no more ads!
