Capture video and audio from any analogue source, like a camcorder or a VCR, edit the footage on your computer and output it back to a VCR or burn it onto a DVD.

Director's Cut converts any analogue video and sound material into DV format that can be captured by any computer equipped with a FireWire/IEEE 1394/iLink interface.
Simply connect your camcorder or VCR to Director's Cut with the sound and Cinch or S-Video cable provided, and connect the unit to the FireWire port of your computer. You can now import, edit and export analogue footage!
Director's Cut is recognized as a DV Camcorder by your computer, removing the need for software drivers and eliminating possible software conflicts. This also guarantees full compatibility with any DV editing application.
Using a high quality chipset, Director’s Cut provides video import and export functionality in full screen size at full frame rate.
Despite the eye-catching painted Aluminum case it is the excellent video quality that has garnered Director's Cut excellent test results time and again!

Perhaps the best feature is the second analogue port. This eliminates the guesswork in figuring out what exactly is being recorded to tape from the jumpy DV preview on the computer!
Simply connect a TV set to the second analogue port and you have a live preview at any time - seeing exactly what goes on tape allows you to get it right the very first time!
